The affordably priced upgrade to the Windsor Series, this sturdy model features wider stiles, treads and rough openings and is designed for heavier residential use. It has a 350-lb. load rating, a rough opening of 22-1/2 in. x 54 in., fits ceiling heights between 7 ft. - 8 ft. 9 in., landing space of 61 in., and a minimum clearance-projection space of 70 in. Constructed of premium wood, it touts 1 in. x 6 in. stiles and stairs for increased stability and sure footing. Century Rugged zinc-plated side hinges and power arms add strength and durability to the ladder joints. The smart user-adjustable red nut J-bolt technology allows you to adjust stairway while it is open instead of making the adjustment from the attic, with the door panel closed. Fully assembled and ready for installation, this product is big on features and performance. All Century attic stairways are independently certified to meet ANSI safety standards.
