Century's Windsor Series of folding attic stairways offer affordability without sacrificing quality and safety. This residential-rated product touts a sturdy 250-lb. load rating, has a rough opening of 22-1/2 in. x 48 in., and fits ceiling heights between 7 ft. - 8 ft. 4 in., landing space of 56 in., and requires a minimum clearance-projection area of 62 in. Constructed of kiln-dried southern yellow pine, these stairs feature 1 in. x 4 in. steps and stiles and 3/16 in. ladder rods for greater stability and sure footing. For added durability, these stairs feature long-lasting, zinc-plated side hinges and power arms. Equipped with Century's user-adjustable red nut J-bolt technology, this product allows you to adjust your stairway while it is open instead of making the adjustment from the attic, with the door panel closed. With a host of smart standard features, Century delivers big on function and value. All Century attic stairways are independently certified to meet ANSI safety standards.
